1. Is this part-time, full-time, or flexible?
Massify isn’t a job board or an agency contract. It’s a collective of growth-driven marketers where you’re matched to client engagements based on your speciality and availability.
Here’s how it works:
- Flexible, not fixed: You choose how many clients you want to take on. Most marketers work with 2–3 engagements at a time, but you can scale up or down depending on your capacity.
- Engagement-based: Each client project runs for a minimum of 6 months, starting with a 6–8 week activation period. During activation, your base service fee is secured. After that, you earn through performance upside tied to the results you help create.
- Orchestrated by Massify: We handle the client relationship, set clear expectations, and ensure fair scope. You focus on delivering impact within your lane, without chasing gigs or negotiating retainers.
Think of it as a performance partnership: flexible like freelancing, structured like an agency, but built for impact and fairness.
2. How do payments work?
Every client starts with a 6–8 week activation period. During this time, you receive a base service fee per client — this is covered by the client’s activation fee and ensures your time and effort are compensated. After activation, you continue earning through performance-based upside, tied directly to the results you help create.
👉 Example: If your base fee is $1,000 per client and you’re matched with 2 clients, you’ll receive $2,000 during the activation phase, plus upside rewards as growth builds.
3. What about scope creep or endless revisions?
Revisions are not “extra work” here. They’re part of building impact. If a campaign or creative needs refining, it’s because we’re working together with the founder to get the offer right. That’s expected in an outcome-driven model, and it’s why upside rewards exist.
That said, boundaries are clear:
- You’re responsible only for your speciality (ads, lifecycle, content, data, etc.).
- Iterations within your lane are part of the process.
- Requests outside your lane (like brand redesigns, video shoots, or work that needs extra budget) are not automatically included.
Massify protects you from being stretched unfairly — you focus on impact in your function, and we ensure the client understands what’s in-scope from day one.
4. Who provides the tools and platforms?
We keep it simple:
- Clients provide all operational tools tied to their business (ad accounts, analytics dashboards, CRMs, e-commerce platforms, data systems).
- Marketers/agencies bring their own professional toolkits for execution (design software, content tools, testing/optimization apps, AI assistants, workflow enhancers).
This ensures clients only pay for what’s necessary to run their operations, while marketers work with the creative and optimization tools they know best. It also reinforces that Massify’s collective is made up of equipped professionals ready to deliver results without hidden tool costs.
5. What happens if the product or funnel has issues?
Your activation work is always paid. No exceptions.
If we uncover product or funnel gaps that block growth (for example: weak product–market fit, poor customer journey, checkout failures, or uncompetitive pricing), it is the founder’s responsibility to fix them.
Here’s how it works:
- During activation: You still receive your full base service fee for the work delivered (strategy setup, campaigns, creative, systems within your lane).
- If growth is blocked: Massify will flag these issues to the founder. If they choose not to act, the project may pause after activation but your activation work remains fully compensated.
- Moving forward: Performance upside only applies once the founder has addressed the product or funnel issues and the client is truly “growth-ready.”
This protects you from being penalized for problems outside your control, while ensuring founders take responsibility for fixing what marketing alone cannot solve.
6. How are performance fees calculated?
Performance fees are Massify’s way of ensuring you’re rewarded fairly for the growth you help create.
Here’s how it works:
- Baseline: During the strategy session, Massify, the client, and the marketer(s) agree on a revenue baseline (current performance). This ensures everyone knows the starting point.
- Performance Upside: Fees are only applied to attributable revenue beyond this baseline meaning you’re compensated for real, incremental growth, not existing sales.
- Tracking: Massify and the assigned marketers are jointly responsible for ensuring tracking accuracy and transparency.
In short: you only share in revenue you directly help generate and it’s tracked transparently, agreed upfront, and verified together.
7. How is this different from freelancing or working at an agency?
We exist to make growth support both affordable for founders and sustainable for marketers. Technology has already reshaped the cost model for startups. Massify takes it further. Instead of chasing short-term gigs, you gain stability. We aim to match you with 2–3 clients every 6 months, giving you steady work and exposure to a variety of business models all united under one shared mission of impact-driven growth.
Each client commits to a minimum 6-month engagement, where your performance fees kick in after the activation phase. By then, the base work is already set , strategy, systems, and campaigns are in place and your focus shifts to what you do best: optimizing the machine for better conversions and incremental growth.
